What Apple does not list is also worth knowing. There is no rigid case: the phone sits inside the knit, so corners and the camera are not protected the way a case protects them. There is no card slot, no wallet and no finger strap. And because the Pocket is the strap, there is no taking the strap off and using the phone bare.

Why You Probably Cannot Buy One Now

Forbes reported that the iPhone Pocket went on sale on Friday, November 14, 2025 and sold out at apple.com within hours. Business Insider reported on November 26, 2025 that both sizes and all eight colors were sold out on Apple's website and in the stores that carried it. As of October 13, 2026, a search for "iPhone Pocket" on apple.com returns no Pocket at all, and Google's own autocomplete for the product now suggests "discontinued" and "restock."

What is left is the resale market. Listings we saw in October 2026 ranged from a few hundred dollars to over $900 for a sealed Pocket, plus a wave of unbranded knit copies on marketplaces for under $50. So the real choice for most people is not "Pocket or something else." It is "resale Pocket, a knockoff of unknown quality, or a crossbody case that does more for less."
